An unidentified man called and disconnected the call when I informed him that I couldn't hear him clearly. Hence, I am unaware of his intention or purpose for calling.

The phone only rang three times, but there was no message left. It's frustrating and irritating to wonder why somebody would do this.

Did an Asian lady named Tracy call you? I mentioned it was a scam, and she quickly ended the call.

I've had a remarkably similar encounter. It appears that their expertise lies specifically with washing machine repairs!

I've received three phone calls from a particular number, informing me that I was overcharged for a recent repair on my washing machine. The caller requested my bank details in order to refund me £119. While it is true that I had my washing machine repaired recently, I became suspicious when the foreign lady on the call refused to write to me or send a cheque through the post. It is important not to share bank details in situations like this, as it can potentially be a dangerous scam.

Beware of a scam involving an overpayment refund for a washing machine of £119. I advised the scammers to send a cheque and then ended the phone call. Please be cautious.

When I informed them that they had called a business, I was verbally abused and told that I was apparently wasting their time. They were calling about a refund for a washing machine warranty.

It's enjoyable to waste the time of these scammers over the phone, as they become quite angry! When I am occupied in wasting their time, they are not able to scam anyone else.

It's currently 13:43 here in Dorset as well. I'm glad I allowed the phone to go to voicemail, as it saves both their time and mine.

They asked for me by my previous surname. Upon my refusal, they promptly ended the call.

I didn't answer the call because I didn't recognize the number. They didn't leave a voicemail, just hung up. I believe it was another scam call, which is annoying and harassing.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Homeserve, a company I have never used before. I requested a cheque as a form of payment, but they informed me that they are unable to send me one. This made me wonder which company has shared my name and address details with them. It's becoming increasingly difficult to trust anyone these days, especially with the rise in scam calls. I'm quite frustrated that this is the second call I've received in just three days.

After hearing about others who mentioned overpaying for their washing machine cover, a woman approached me with the same concern. I politely requested her to send me a cheque to resolve the issue. However, as soon as I made this request, she abruptly ended the phone call.

I recently received a call from Homeserve informing me that they owe me an overpayment of £119 for the insurance I was charged for washing machine coverage. They asked for my preferred method of payment, to which I responded quite negatively, telling them exactly where I want them to keep it.

Just like everyone else, Sophie Brown, a woman, desired a reimbursement for the warranty on her washing machine.

I completely forgot to mention that according to their statement, they claim to have received excess payment for my washing machine insurance. Normally, I don't bother with purchasing insurance for appliances as it often feels like a waste of money.

I had a similar experience recently. I requested them to issue me a cheque, but they insisted on depositing the funds directly into my bank account. I pointed out that if I had indeed made any overpayments, they would already possess my bank information. I refrain from sharing my banking details over the phone. It's quite peculiar though, because if I hadn't been aware of these types of calls, I might have been taken advantage of, especially as I am currently awaiting a repair for my washing machine through the repair coverage we have.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from "The Homecare Department" regarding my washing machine cover. They mentioned that there had been an error in a recent payment and I was eligible for a refund. However, this seems like complete nonsense as when I called the number back, I was put in a queue for TPS Civil Engineering and Plant Hire North West!

Complete nonsense! Someone contacted me claiming I was owed £100 and asked for my bank account information to transfer the money. I made it clear that any owed amount could be returned to me through a cheque. Surprisingly, they insisted on needing my account details even for sending a cheque. I politely declined their request and told them to find another way to handle it.

I am constantly receiving calls from them, but they never say anything when I answer. It's becoming incredibly annoying.
